Ram Konduru
AI Impact Translator
Translating AI's impact across business, leadership, and people.

Background
Ram Konduru helps leaders make sense of how AI is reshaping organizations, decision-making, work, and society. He draws on more than 20 years of experience across technology, analytics, intelligent systems, and business leadership, from startups to the Fortune 500.
As Founder of The Underlying Intent, he examines the gap between what leaders intend, what systems optimize for, and the outcomes they create, through a systems-first approach.
The turning point
The lens behind the platform wasn't drawn on a whiteboard. Ram once set out to scale a business with a clear goal in mind but never wrote it down or broke it into measurable components. Two years later, after building pieces of the solution with little progress toward the intended outcome, he traced the gap to its origin: an intent never articulated precisely enough for any system to be designed against it.
The Intent Gap Lens (intent → systems → outcomes) is the diagnostic he developed to keep it from happening again.
Today, that lens anchors The Underlying Intent, a foresight platform for the leaders and professionals navigating the AI era, spanning Leadership in the AI Era, for leaders navigating real AI decisions, and AI Reality Check, exploring what AI can and can't actually do through evidence.
Above all, Ram is a lifelong learner who believes in collaboration and continuous growth, the mindset this AI era demands.
